I was born on August 11, 1972 in Hamilton, Ontario. Apparently I was a nosey newborn, looking around the labour & delivery room with curious eyes (even though I couldn’t see!). I am an only child and had a fabulous childhood. I was a child actor and got professional status with ACTRA by age 7. Musical theatre, singing, voice overs and jingles were always my forte.
Born and raised in Alberta, Jacklyn now spends her time between Stratford, and Toronto, Ontario. A member of the Stratford Festival company for 8 seasons, her passions include Shakespeare, her dog, playing the guitar, reading whatever she can get her hands on, and baking pretty much in that order.
