Bob Deyan
Founder
Bob Deyan produced over 10,000 audiobooks during his life. He had the pleasure of directing celebrity readers such as Richard Dreyfuss, Craig Fergason, Raven Simone, Maalcolm Jamal Werner, Kareem Abdul-Jabar, Alice Cooper, Dudley Moore, and many more.
In early 2013, Bob Deyan was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). Although Bob passed away in 2014, his legacy continues to shine throughout this incredible industry, and his reputation as an kind, respectful, and visionary leader continue to be at the very core of everything Deyan Audio does.
Debra Deyan
Founder & CEO
Debra Deyan is a 35 year veteran producer of audiobooks and the owner of Deyan Audio, the world's largest independent audiobook production company, working for over 30 publishers. She has won numerous awards including 5 Grammys, 12 Grammy nominations, countless Audies, Odyssey, Carnegie and Earphone awards. She was awarded the Life Time Achievement award from the APA in 2013 for her efforts in helping to pioneer the audiobook industry.

Jamie
General Manager & Senior Producer
Jamie is the General Manager at Deyan Audio. Since entering the audiobook industry in 2008, he has won multiple Audie awards for his work as a director, editor, quality control engineer, and mastering engineer. He headed up the team that holds the distinguished industry record of producing 700 titles in 60 days.
Vanessa
Post-Production Manager
Vanessa has been a sound engineer since 2013 and has worn multiple hats being that as an editor, proofer, director and is now the coordinator and manages our post production team. On her off time, she enjoys hanging with her many fur and feathered friends and family and crocheting. These give her the peace and love to start the new day.
Jeremy
Lead Mastering Engineer
Jeremy Kochis is the Lead Mastering Engineer with Deyan Audio Services. He moved to Los Angeles from Milford, Connecticut in 2012 to pursue a career in audio. Jeremy graduated from the University of Massachusetts Lowell with a Bachelor’s of Music with a focus on Sound Recording Technology. He worked for a number of live music venues back in Connecticut and interned with an acoustics firm in New York before beginning his career in audiobook production in Los Angeles. Jeremy has a multitude of experience with the company, having been an editor, QCer, director, and mastering engineer.
Mike
Pre-Production Manager
With over seven years in the audiobook industry, Mike started at a distributor until joining Deyan Audio in 2022. Mike now works as the Pre-Production and Research Manager. Passionate about storytelling, he enjoys coordinating projects and bringing great audio experiences to life for listeners.
Devon
Systems Manager
Devon Hammond has been studying how to manipulate audio and music on a computer since he was 5 years old, on his Amiga computer. Since then, he has spent over 17 years in audiobooks as an Editor, QCer, Director, Mastering Engineer, Hiring Manager, Post Trainer and Database Administrator. When not working on audiobooks, he writes silly songs, produces chip-tunes, jams covers with his friends, and scored the short film, “Alternate Games”.
